The Committee were unanimous in recommending Miss Marka for this post.

Miss Clarke is a very pleasant looking straight- forward person with excellmt personal qualifications. Although she has not a Diploma of the kini mentioned by the Hong Kong authorities the Committee felt that the length and variety of her experience outweighed this and that the Colony would be very fortunate to soduro her services. She is able to teach all the subjosts required.

Of the other caniilates interviewed

were

Mina Pronce was somewhat inexperienced and a nervOUR manner and untidy appearince(not in her favour. But she

possesses character and though not suitable for a Colonial

post at present might become so with a good deal mors

experience.

Miss Shunt desired a post abroad in order to became

a Secondary School Teacher. She was a straightforward

sensible but unpolished person, who would do for m

Elementary appointment.
